Modeling School
Be That Kid Productions offer a Full Schedule of Classes for Female Children, Teens and Adults.
Personal Development, Confidence, and Strength of Spirit make up the core focus of our modeling classes. The school is designed to help all people - not just the ones hoping for a career in modeling. We offer new classes three times each year in the Spring, Summer & Fall.

Dance Classes
The Be That Kid Dance Program provides students of all ages the opportunity to experience dance in a context that values the individual and the creative process. It is a dance program dedicated to high quality technical training within a non-competitive environment and offers access to many forms of dance.. Our curriculum caters to each student’s strengths and is designed to encourage creative expression and a positive body image. The program exposes and connects students to dance, - dance theater and music. It is a nurturing, exciting and dynamic setting for students who seek either sheer enjoyment or a career in dance.
Hip Hop
Description:
This class introduces students to hip-hop choreography with the use of insulation , technique, break down, and fun routines to the music of underground and popular hip– hop, house, R&B, and electronic.
Ballet
Description:
This class will build on the technique and vocabulary learned in the beginning level, with an emphasis on moving beautifully from one step to another. This class will work to incorporate breathing, coordination, musicality, and movement quality into the technique.
Hip Hop Jazz - Beginning
Description:
This high energy class challenges you with choreography combining the intelligence of jazz dance with the flava’ of hip hop. The class begins with a set warm-up (which changes every few months) to increase blood flow, gain knowledge of basic steps and body alignment, and increase strength and flexibility. We then move into a dynamic across-the-floor phrase which prepares you for the routine. Class winds down with cool down and stretching.
Contemporary - Beginning
Description:
This class focuses on the fundamentals of modern dance technique. It is based on grounding the body through core strength, alignment and articulation of the joints, while using weight, gravity, suspension, and momentum to move easily. The spine is used as a deep source of connection and expression. This technique combines the up-rightness of ballet to strengthen the core, and the freedom of release technique for momentum and agility. This is a great class for students who want to cover space, become strong, and move freely while having fun!

SINGING LESSONS
Glee Program Intensive (4 Weeks) – Ages 6 and up
Sing – Dance – Act intensive inspired by the television show. One class per day on Fridays , for 4 Weeks in November . Each 4 week program culminates in a performance. Read below the descriptions of each component, Sing, Dance, Act.

Acting School
Act out and dream big! At our production company , students ages 6 to 18 develop their talents, perform in professional-caliber productions, and gain the confidence to succeed—all in a comfortable, creative, and fun environment.
Be That Kid Productions classes are exciting, engaging, and challenging. Courses such as acting, musical theater, clowning, and physical comedy offer something for every student's taste and schedule. BTK teachers and directors are active theater professionals who understand and enjoy working with young people.
Develop
The BTK teaches more than just acting. Students learn to incorporate the craft of theater into their everyday lives, developing concentration, imagination, professionalism, character, and self-confidence along the way.
Perform
The BTK stages two public productions a year from traditional to original plays.
Succeed
By training at the BTK students gain the creative and communication skills to succeed in just about anything. Many students go on to study art in college, and our alumni are often seen gracing stages in the Bay Area and across the country. Some alumni, such as Alena Jarrett ,Aaron Fresh , and JD Charisma go on to successful careers.

10 Week On Camera Technique

October 7 – Dec. 9
Kids- Grades 3-5
This class will use improvisation and theater games to teach young actors to use their imagination. These improvisational skills are essential to strong commercial auditions. While developing their creativity we will introduce students to the basics of commercial audition skills: the interview, MOS, and a variety of copy. Students will learn audition etiquette by participating in mock auditions. Class culminates with an Agent Q & A for parents on December 10th at 11am.
Kids - Grades 6-8,
This class teaches both commercial and film audition skills. Students learn how to improvise and follow scenarios for MOS. One liners, single person copy and two person copy will be introduced. Students also learn how to make the essential adjustments between acting for the stage and acting for the camera while working on film and television scripts. Students will practice audition etiquette by participating in mock auditions. Class culminates with an Agent Q&A for students and their parents on December 11th at 11am.
Teens - Grades 9-12
On Camera Level I (Commercial Technique)
This class is designeted to give the student an overview of on camera technique and all aspects of the commercial audition. Students will learn script analysis, work on camera, view playback and receive feedback every week. Two industry guests will attend class and conduct mock auditions. This class is great for students who have agent representation or who aspire to. Class culminates with an Agent Q & A for students and their parents on December 11th at 11am.
Teens - Grades 9-12
On Camera Level II (Film/Television)
Students will work on camera technique using dramatic film, comedic television and functionary scripts. Learning to fully use oneself, find stillness and specificity, wile making dynamic choices is the goal. Work required outside of class. Agent Q&A for students and parents on December 11th at 11am.
