When Fashion Meets Film & Celebrities -
"A Fashion Show for a Cause" promises to be an exciting entertainment event as well as a local outreach project. This partnership comprises celebrities and business leaders from the bay area who support Recreation Plus's mission, including fashion designer Debbie Nghiem, San Francisco Examiner writer Michelle Gates, Miss India Global Shweta Teckchandani, pop singer Alicia Perrone and her band "Fans of Jimmy Century", movie actress Jessica Cameron, film director/producer Wendy Elkin, film producer/actress Kaira, restauranteur Eileen Faury, award-winning restauranteur Marie Jobson, actress/singer Erin Bell, and television hostess Papiha Nandy.
Special guest entertainers include award-winning belly dancer Maria Solokova, the Lisa Silva Band, and singer Vanessa Lovato. The runway fashion show will feature designs by fashionista Rosemary Osorio and will feature Be That Kid models directed and choreographed by actress/producer/choreographer Cristina Ribeiro.
